Artist Cole Strem brings his distinctive style to all of his art. Fascinated by tattoos since age 8, he started telling people that he was going to be a tattoo artist when he was 15 years old.

       Cole studied graphic art at the Institute of Art and Design in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He started his tattooing career as an apprentice to Madison Stone, in North Hollywood, at Madison Tattoo. It was with her knowledge, guidance and additional expert advice from her business partner and fellow artist, Dave Grinds, that Cole finds the wisdom and determination to study and strive to become the very best he can be.

      His works are inspired by life, death, music and the talent that working alongside of amazing artists can offer. Cole designs tattoos that are alive with shadows and color.  He has been studying american traditional tattoo art as well as the techniques of the modern trade. As a painter, he works in oil, acrylics and water colors.

      Due to the encouragement of his creative and supportive parents, Cole began his artistic endeavors at a very early age always knowing that he was destined to tattoo.
